So I just got done with a sidewalk vacation *cough* (homeless!) in LA, and lemme tell ya folks, sleeping outside can be tough, even in the fairest of weather. Coming back to KC, well, it's not a shock or anything, but this is just plain inconvenient.

My own situation has evened out a bit - as I type this message, I sit on a comfortable (if aged) couch near a very warm fire. But I can't forget my people man. I'm still searching for work. Thought I'd put out a call for donations.
Coats, sweaters, gloves, scarves, hats, thick socks, boots, umbrellas, ponchoes, blankets, sleeping bags, thermos containers, cups of ramen, unwanted canned goods for use in soups and stews -- and Bibles.
Don't ignore them. They're just like us. We could easily be in their shoes. They are loved by God, and so are you.
Have mercy. This will go directly into the hands of the ones the shelters are too full for, who are too sick to care for themselves, who are too gross to want to look at - the overlooked and ignored.
Don't shut us out.
