JE Adams Inc. is seeking full-time, dependable, and safety-focused Delivery Drivers to join our team. This is a FedEx Ground contractor position and not a direct FedEx employment opportunity.
Compensation
$170–$185 per day(Depending on experience)
Full-time position
Schedule would include either Saturdays or Sundays, one of the two.
Driver Responsibilities
Operate a delivery vehicle safely while transporting packages weighing up to 150 lbs
Practice safe driving habits and comply with all state and federal driving laws
Accurately follow assigned routes using maps and GPS
Load and unload packages efficiently and safely
Maintain vehicle cleanliness, including windows, mirrors, and interior
Adhere to delivery schedules and reroute efficiently when encountering traffic or delays
Provide professional and courteous customer service
Driver Qualifications
Valid Driver’s License (MANDATORY)
If you have a Missouri drivers license if must be a CLASS E license.
Clean driving record
Must be able to pass federal and state background checks
No felony convictions
Must be able to pass a drug screening that includes marijuana
Physically able to:
Lift, carry, and maneuver packages up to 150 lbs
Reach, stretch, bend, and sit for extended periods
Reliable, punctual, and professional
Able to work independently and manage time effectively
Flexible and adaptable to changing routes or schedules
Positive attitude and customer-service focused
Preferred Qualifications
1+ year of professional driving experience (preferred, not required)
Training available for qualified candidates
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Weekend availability
