CDL-A Company Driver – Local & OTR Opportunities
(Home Daily or Every 1–3 Days)
We are seeking a reliable and experienced CDL Class A driver with at least 2 years of verifiable driving experience. The position offers both local intermodal work and over-the-road (OTR) options, depending on your preference and income goals.
Company Overview
Our company specializes in intermodal container hauling within a 250-mile radius of Kansas City. We service BNSF, NS, CSX, and UP rails and provide consistent year-round freight. Most local drivers are home every night, while OTR drivers typically reset in Kansas City after short regional trips.

Local Intermodal Company Driver (Home Daily)
Primary Work
Hauling intermodal containers within a 250-mile radius.
Pay Structure
Prepulls:
• BNSF – $75.00
• NS & CSX – $50.00
• UP – $50.00 (our yard is less than 5 miles from UP)
Local Loads:
• Standard local loads – $125.00
Longer Runs (Per-Load Pay):
• $150.00: St. Joseph MO, Topeka KS, Atchison KS, Clinton MO, Milan MO
• $200.00: Joplin MO, Lamar MO, Webb City MO, Columbia MO, Pittsburg KS, Manhattan KS, Junction City KS
• $250.00: Springfield MO, Wichita KS, Des Moines IA, Lincoln NE
• $300.00: St. Louis MO, Springdale AR, Hastings NE, Columbus NE, Tulsa OK
(We have high demand for containers moving to many of these destinations.)
Operational Details
• Fleet includes automatic and 10-speed trucks in excellent mechanical condition, plus spare trucks to minimize downtime.
• Full load pay applies only when the move is completed – pickup, delivery, and return of the empty container and/or chassis. Partial loads are paid proportionally.
• Many containers are prepulled, allowing you to start from the yard and still receive full pay once the empty is returned.
• Drivers must confirm pay with dispatch before accepting or releasing any load.
Average Weekly Earnings (Local)
Most local drivers earn $1,300 – $1,700 per week, depending on workload and performance.

Over-the-Road (OTR) Driver Position
For drivers seeking higher earning potential and schedule flexibility, we offer short-haul OTR positions with frequent home time.
Pay Options
1. Percentage of Net Truck Income
• Paid at 50% of the truck’s net weekly income (after the company’s 10% fee and fuel costs).
• Example: If the truck grosses $6,000 in a week and nets $3,000 after deductions, the driver earns $1,500 for that week – which aligns with our current driver averages.
2. Weekly Florida Round Trips (“Easy Money” Runs)
• Dedicated weekly runs from Kansas City to Florida and back.
• Each round trip pays $1,200 – $1,500, depending on the load and lane.
• These are consistent, low-stress routes that many of our drivers refer to as “easy money.”
3. Per-Mile Pay Option
• $0.55 – $0.65 per mile, based on experience and driving record.
• Paid on all miles – loaded and empty.
Earnings & Truck Revenue
(Based on actual driver reports; may vary by freight and schedule.)
• Truck Gross Income: $5,500 – $10,000 per week
• Driver Take-Home (OTR): $1,500 + per week, depending on pay option and load volume
OTR Schedule
• Typical schedule: 1–3 days on the road, followed by resets in Kansas City
• Option to self-dispatch for drivers who prefer to manage their own freight and maximize earnings
