I'm interested in guys who don't mind hard work, teamwork, great communication, customer service, and tips.
The moving industry is an extremely high turnover industry. It's not for everyone. I'm a small outfit, currently. The guy(s) who show up 5-15 mins early every time, naturally customer service oriented are the ones who will standout and get most of the hours, along with all the long-distance moves etc.
Truly is part-time even in prime-time. I am a small outfit and I'm growing quite a bit. The right fella that sticks by and knows that as growth happens they'd be in line first and foremost if it all possible. That last statement is coming from me, the sole owner.
Being a rookie, with no experience is not a horrible thing. Ask lots of questions, and treat customers stuff like your own—always.
