ELECTRICAL SUPERINTENDENT - SOLAR
The future is looking bright in Missouri! RenewableWorks is now accepting applications for an ELECTRICAL SUPERINTENDENT at our exciting new solar project near the Clinton area. Whether you've a been working on solar sites for years or an aspiring first-timer, we'd love for you to join our crew!
As a member of our team, you'll be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all electrical construction activities for our solar project site. Working closely with management teams - you'll be instrumental in the day-to-day operations of sustainable energy units on commercial solar farm sites.
Heads up: This is a physically demanding role that will require you to work in all kinds of weather. A strong work ethic will serve you well, along with prior solar or construction experience (this is a plus, not a must!).

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
-Lead and manage electrical construction projects from initiation to completion
-Coordinate with other construction professionals to ensure the successful completion of projects
-Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality, identify potential issues, and implement effective solutions
-Monitor the activities of subcontractors to ensure compliance with specifications and schedules.
-Mentor General Foreman, craft personnel, and other junior level employees
-Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and resources
-Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
-Enforce and promote a culture of safety by implementing and enforcing QCELLS standards and OSHA policies, procedures, and guidelines
-Assign tasks, delegate responsibilities and provide guidance and training to develop team members skills and capabilities.
-Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations governing energy storage work include NFPA 70e and IEEE and NEC standards
JOB REQUIREMENTS
-5 to 10 years of experience supporting major utility scale construction projects (power stations, supply networks, solar, wind, or BESS preferred)
-Experience with solar power plant operations and equipment
-Ability to supervise large electrical teams
-Proficiency with Microsoft Office, MS Project, or comparable project management tools
-Strong technical aptitude, including understanding of installation manuals and technical design packages (electrical/mechanical)
-Experience with cable installation and termination (AC/DC/MV/Fiber), combiner boxes, CAB systems, harnesses, and module to module connections
-Experience with SCADA, MET stations, auxiliary racks, and temporary/permanent power connections for substation and office trailers
-Strong written and verbal communication skills; bilingual English/Spanish preferred
-Willingness to travel up to 75%
-Detail oriented, able to work under pressure, and effective in team environments
-Ability to learn and apply applicable local, state/provincial, and federal regulations
-Experience coordinating with Owner's Field Representatives and external testing agencies

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated to range between $55.00 - $65.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including but not limited to experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate's skills and experience, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the pay range. The upper end of the range will generally be reserved for candidates with extensive skills and experience. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law.
