Split top workbench, perfect for any woodworker or handyman. The top is made frim solid birch and its overall size is 3 1/4”x 24 1/4”x 73”. The bench is just under 34” tall so it can be placed behind a table saw and double as out feed support. The base is welded from heavy walled tubing and angle. The shelf is a tongue and grooved floating panel that is mortise and tenoned at the ends. The bench comes with a BG-500 vise that was sold by Broadhead Garrett and likely made by Wilton or Columbian. It is currently not mounted but will be depending on the new owners dominant handedness. The gap filler is solid walnut and can stand just below the surface or 1/2” above to be used as a full length stop for planing or cleaning up tenons. It can also be removed to allow clamping along the length of the bench or for bench top sawing. I have a bench at work like this that I use everyday and love it and I have also made one for my sons to use in my home shop, it is very solid and capable. Thanks for looking.
