American Contracting is a local general contractor who specializes in the repair and/or
replacement of roofing, siding and gutters damaged during severe weather events.
We are looking for experienced salespeople who are comfortable and confident in
navigating a typical conversation with a potential customer. Extensive 1 on 1 training is
provided.
Duties:
-Offer free damage inspection for potential clients via targeted door to door sales
-Complete damage inspection
-Sit with customer in home to discuss damages found
-Meet with insurance company to show damage and answer questions
-Handle basic paperwork and data entry
Qualifications:
-Proven experience in sales is preferred but not required.
-Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers quickly.
-Excellent verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on active listening.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
-A positive attitude and a willingness to learn about new products and services.
-Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or holidays as needed.
