When we purchased the RV, we took into consideration the low mileage (42000) combined with the age (7-8 years old) which indicated to us that the coach had not been used extensively, as far as we could tell
everything was in good working order already. However, we travel to remote areas and did not want to have any unforeseen issues so we decided to be proactive and took the coach to a professional, custom repair
shop, where we had all the systems gone over with a fine tooth comb. Ultimately, we decided to simply upgrade and replace any systems which could in time become problematic. This was quite costly, but when
completed, we essentially had a new coach. The systems we replaced included, but not limited to: upgrading entertainment system to HDMI, moving main TV to rear of main living area from up between driving
area, installed a new front 15,000 BTU ac/heat pump (replacing old 13,500 unit), had the inverter changed out to the largest available for this bus. We had a new cooling unit installed in the refrigerator, since we
cook 90% of our meals while traveling. When redoing entertainment remodel we installed new flat screen TV's, a blue ray player, 2 new Dish receivers (1 DVR and 1 regular for bedroom), surround sound and
a new Dish satellite with automatic signal finder. We also replaced all six batterries, replaced all 4 drive tires and added a triple water filtration system.
All sytems are now virtually new and should not require anything other than routine maintainance.
The motor and generator has just been completely serviced and good for another 10,000 miles.
All in all this was an expensive, extreme volume of work which essentially created a "like new" motorhome.
We are willing to negoiate on price, however, our research and information provided to us regarding the value of the coach, taking in to consideration all of our added investment supports our asking price.
It drives like a dream and with all 4 sides out, it opens up to a space that feels like a home.
