Clean 1956 Chevy Cast Iron Powerglide transmission with torque converter. Was rebuilt by seller a few years ago. Rebuild consisted of clutches, bushings, and gaskets. Transmission was working when it was taken out of my 56 Chevy V8 2 years ago. However, the trans was slow to shift from low to high when first taken out on the road. After the first shift then everything worked normal. Trans also leaked after it was parked and not driven for a few days. The transmission is very clean on the inside. No rust or gunky buildup. Has been stored inside since trans was removed from 56 Chevy. This tran will fit chevies from 55 thru 63 V8s. This trans is a perfect candidate for a rebuild as it is complete and has no broken or worn hard parts. The asking price is a bargain as I need to free up space in my garage. The tran is guaranteed for the $100 asking price if it is not as I have described it. Thanks for looking. Item is for pickup only in Lenexa. Shipping is not available.
