A fifth wheel is a specially designed hitch with a king pin receiver that mounts over or forward of the rear axle of the vehicle. The hitch connects with the king pin on the fifth wheel trailer. Fifth wheel hitches are easy to operate and require little maintenance.

Paid 1650$, had it installed on my Ford F250.

Forged single jaw.
Self latching jaw design.
King pin indicator.
Wider footprint for increased stability.
Wider 9" (vs 6") kingpin funnel area on head.
Lockable handle (lock sold separately).
1/4 turn handle "quick lock" mount system.
Non-pin mounting reduces slop.
