Shutter count/actuations are a very low 17,057 as of 4/22/2026. Nikon says they are good for at least 200,000+. Most get about 300,000+. It has taken me almost five years to get to this shutter count and I am a semi-pro who uses it for all my indoor studio shots.
This camera has 36.3 MP (you will probably never need to go over 8-10 MP for incredible photos), which can easily be enlarged more than you will ever probably need.
I only use this camera indoors in my home studio. Non-smoking, dog-free environment and kept in a safe with humidity control. I take great care of my equipment.

The Dr. Pepper photo was taken with this camera using a 105mm macro lens (lit by studio strobes) in my home studio. The bowl of soup photo was taken with this camera using a 50mm lens (lit by studio strobes) in my home studio and the "hamburger" photo was also taken with this camera using a 105mm macro lens (lit by studio strobes) in my home studio as well.
The camera looks virtually brand new.
