Selling my Came TV 8000 Gimbal set up. It’s served me well when I first purchased it but have rarely used it lately. This is a great gimbal set up for someone who isn’t ready to pull the trigger on a higher end system like a Freefly or Movi. Great for cameras larger than DSLR.
Came TV 8000 Gimbal
Breakdown Gimbal Stand
(2) 2200 Batteries
Extra bolts and Allen wrenches
(2) Support Vest Rods
(2) Clamps on the Gimbal to attach the rods.
There is a rattling noise inside one of the side black motors. It does not interfere with performance at all, I believe a bolt or a piece of plastic fell off. Could be an easy fix for those savvy enough, just never took the time to check it out myself. Also one of the handles broke off from the softcase.
Unit comes as pictured. Will happily let you give it a test run, DM for any other questions. Feel free to send your best offer.
Pasted the specs from B&H below:
11 lb Load Capacity
2200 mAh Li-Po Battery
Quick Release Sled
Capable of balancing camera setups weighing up to 11 pounds, the CAME-TV CAME-8000 Motorized Gimbal Stabilizer provides three axes of stabilization for smooth handheld tracking shots.
The CAME-8000 has three operating modes. One mode holds the camera stationary along all three axes for a quasi-locked-down feel. In this mode, the camera's pan and tilt can be operated with the joystick for precise manual control. The second mode is the follow mode. In this mode, the camera will follow your pan and tilt movements while keeping the horizon line level in all cases. This is useful in run-and-gun situations where the subject will be moving spontaneously. The Commixture mode locks the tilt axis but will follow panning motions.
Manufactured from aluminum, the hollow design reduces weight and hides the battery and unsightly wires from view. The camera is mounted via a quick-release sled and resides inside a cage for extra protection. The cage itself has multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 tapped screw holes for mounting accessories. 15mm accessory rods for lens control motors or matte boxes can be mounted below the lens using the rod clamps. The stabilizer's side handles are rubberized for a secure grip, and feature a 17mm openings on the bottom for attaching a separately available vest for further stabilization. An integrated top handle can also be used for low angle shots.
Using the adjustable cage in conjunction with quick-release sled, cameras can be quickly balanced on the CAME-8000. The sled adjusts the fore/aft balance, while the cage adjusts the height/center of gravity. An included table-top stand keeps the gimbal in the optimal position for balancing. It also serves as a rest for when you are not using the gimbal in between shots.
