I am looking to responsibly rehome my 3-year-old black & white female standard poodle (approximately 60 lbs).
She is:
* 3 years old
* Spayed
* Current on all vaccinations
* Very active and athletic
* Does well with grooming and handling
* Knows basic commands (sit, shake; currently working on stay)
Important behavior notes (please read carefully):
She is highly reactive toward smaller animals and has a strong prey drive. She cannot live with cats, chickens, or small dogs. She has killed chickens in the past and has reacted aggressively toward a small dog that challenged her.
With other dogs, she can display dominant behaviors, including standing over them. Because of this, she would do best as:
* A solo pet, or
* In a home with one dog her own size or larger, with proper introductions and supervision
She will need:
* An experienced, confident dog owner
* Clear structure, boundaries, and continued training
* A secure home environment with no small animals
This dog is not recommended for first-time owners and is not suitable for households with small pets.
A rehoming fee applies to help ensure a serious, committed home.
Please reply with information about your experience with dogs, your home environment, and why you feel you would be a good fit.
