Advocate Construction is growing rapidly and we need an Culture & Office Manager who will play a key role in supporting our employees with the tools necessary to complete their work and keeping our office fun and exciting! You'll be responsible for a range of tasks, including greeting guests coming to visit the office, assisting in creating an office budget and procedures, ordering and organizing products and supplies, planning corporate off-sites, planning special events for the team, and managing social media accounts. The mission of the Office & Culture Manager is to ensure the smooth daily operations of the Lenexa, KS office. We are looking for a highly organized, motivated professional ready for the challenge of building structure and a smooth and fun functioning office environment for an extremely fast-paced and dynamic organization.

Your Role:

You will be the face of the office, warmly greeting guests and assisting them with their appointments/inquires in person and over the phone
Function as the go-to Advocate Construction for all daily office needs
Plan company sponsored team outings, happy hours, holiday parties, and other fun office gatherings
Ensure proper stock of all office supplies and equipment
Develop an office budget and manage vendor relationships and negotiations in order to stay within the budget
Maintain a clean and comfortable office area, gently encouraging all employees to do the same
Opening and closing the office daily
Complete special projects as assigned
Desired Skills and Experience:

2 -4 years of office management experience in a creative company or startup
Experience creating and maintaining a budget
Experience coordinating and managing multiple vendors
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environment
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, service-minded, friendly, and takes initiative
Able to get along with a variety of personalities and all levels of staff
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills (including strong interpersonal skills)
Ability to work independently and confidently
Familiarity with Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to meet deadlines in a timely fashion, prioritize assignments (with little supervision) and multi-task are essential
