We just got together but are looking to keep momentum going. I’m 43 and am the lead vocalist who also plays both electric and acoustic guitar. The lead guitarist, bassist and drummer are also in place. All of us are in our early 40's to early 50’s and have played in bands for years.
We are looking for the following:
- Fiddle player (if you play other instruments as well and/or sing harmonies, even better)
We're looking to play very specific types of music, while intentionally avoiding other types.
What we are playing:
Bands such as: Whiskey Myers, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Randy Rogers Band, and some older great rock n' roll stuff such as Creedence Clearwater Revival, etc.
Playing music is a hobby of ours that we take seriously and want to play with a group of like minded musicians. That being said, we are not looking to play every weekend. Ideally, once ready we would play 1-2 gigs per month to stay sharp and finely tune our show, with the ultimate goal to play festivals throughout the Spring/Summer/Fall, and 1-2 gigs per month at bars during the cold months.
Let us know if you are interested - we typically only practice one night per week for about 2 hours. We don't want this to feel like a job or become burdensome!
