For Sale: Vintage 1979 Ibanez RS100 Roadster. The Roadster Series is an important piece of Ibanez history and came at a time when they were emerging from what was referred to as the “Lawsuit Era” I bought this guitar in the 1990s and I remember at the time I thought it was just really beautiful with its smooth and contoured body. I didn’t realize how hot the Super 6 pickups were until I got it home and plugged it in. Maxon made their pickups then and this guitar really screams. I’m listing it as in “Excellent” condition, but you’d have to have to look really close to find any imperfections and it also comes with a padded gig bag. I searched for other RS100s to see what they might be worth and couldn’t find any. If you’re an Ibanez fan, this will make a great addition to your collection.
