Up for sale is a very nice Sansui D-79R single-well, auto-reverse stereo cassette deck. It is highly regarded by casual vintage collectors for its distinctive "Quick Reverse" feature, retro aesthetic, and straightforward layout. Mechanism: Single-well transport with a specialized 4-channel tape head that allows bidirectional playback and recording without physically flipping the tape. Inputs/Outputs: Rear RCA line-in line-out jacks alongside dual front-facing 1/4-inch microphone inputs and a dedicated headphone jack.T ape Compatibility: Manual selectors for Normal (Type I), Chrome/High Bias (Type II), and Metal (Type IV) cassette formulations.Front Display: Includes an electronic LED peak-reading level meter and a mechanical 3-digit tape counter. Cnvenient Auto-Reverse: The "Quick Reverse" mechanism provides uninterrupted playback by switching directions automatically when it reaches the end of the tape. Aethetic Appeal: Features a highly stylized, dark faceplate with vibrant LED illumination that perfectly complements other parts of the hi-fi stack. User-Friendly Layout: Offers large, tactile playback keys and an individual left/right balance adjustment knob for recording precision. Note that this is part of an entire rack system I have up for sale. Each part of the system is discounted if you buy the entire system. This cassette deck has a service tag on it that it had been refurbed. Transports work OK, and playback is nice. Note that this and the other units were pulled from an estate sale and sold as is. Pckup evenings after 5pm at QT at Sterling and Truman Rd in Independence, or weekday workdays in downtown KCK. If it's listed, its available. Don't ask me "Hey Is this Available?"
