Goodlife Innovations, in partnership with Americorps, is looking to hire a Volunteer and Grant Coordinator for a one year research and grant support project! This individual will be compensated a living stipend of $12,300 paid in biweekly installments of $470, with benefits available through CNCS. The position will be full time for the contract period. The contract can potentially be renewed for a second year.

The VISTA hire will be tasked with the following objectives:
* Research and identify sources of funding for GoodLife’s and Neighborhood Network (including its Volunteer and Work/Employment programs).
* Work with staff to write grants and submit funding applications.
* Identify events and speaking opportunities for leadership that will promote the dissemination, expansion, and impact of the Neighborhood Network.
* Serve on the GoodLife Fundraising Committee, tasked with executing an annual fundraiser event.
The VISTA will (a) develop a pipeline of potential funding opportunities, analyze agency
requests (ensuring alignment with program goals), (b) provide support for grant writer during
the coordination of large proposals, (c) assist with fundraising campaigns/initiatives and, (d)
build capacity by facilitating & coordinating volunteer efforts at the Neighborhood Network
(NN—currently in two locations: one in Overland Park, KS and one in Lawrence, KS, with an additional location of Olathe, KS launching in 2019). Ultimately, the VISTA will be breaking the cycle of poverty by empowering independence in seniors and those with disabilities through generating support, funding, and volunteer capacity at the NN--a community-based, support model that affordably infuses holistic care into the fabric of a well-selected neighborhood.
