Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized construction site by removing debris, handling materials, and assisting skilled trades as needed. Supports daily construction operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Clean and remove construction debris, trash, and hazardous materials from work areas.
• Sweep, shovel, and maintain clean job sites throughout the workday.
• Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment.
• Assist carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and other trades with general labor tasks.
• Operate basic hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Set up and take down temporary barriers, signage, and work areas.
• Dispose of waste according to company and environmental regulations.
• Follow OSHA and company safety standards at all times.
• Perform lifting, carrying, digging, and other physically demanding tasks.
• Maintain equipment and report damaged tools or unsafe conditions to supervisors.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous construction or general labor experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50–75 pounds and work in various weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of construction site safety practices.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
