We are a locally owned, family-run dry cleaning shop looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Garment Presser to join our production team.
This is hands-on, physical work in a fast-paced environment. If you take pride in doing things well, can stay focused, and show up consistently, you will do well here.
Ideally, we would like to find someone with experience as a presser. But we are willing to train the right individual
What You’ll Do
• Press garments (pants, silks, delicate items, and other dry-cleaning work)
• Work primarily at one station, but be willing to cross-train and help where needed
• Inspect garments as you work and watch for stains or issues
• Maintain quality standards while working efficiently
• Work independently but as part of a small team
• Help keep work flowing when others are out
Pressing is the main job, but we value an all-hands-on-deck mindset in a small shop.
What We’re Looking For
We care about both skill and attitude.
You should be:
✔ Reliable — able to show up every scheduled day
✔ Efficient — able to work steadily and keep pace
✔ Detail-oriented — able to notice fabric types, instructions, and quality issues
✔ Physically capable — standing 5–7+ hours per day
✔ Coachable — able to accept correction and keep improving
✔ Team-minded — willing to help and not pass work to others
✔ Proud of your work — you like making clothes look right
Experience is helpful and affects starting pay, but we are willing to train the right person.
