This is our 17th year of providing successful childcare to our growing community. Our lead teacher is very passionate and motivated to providing the quality childcare all families deserve. She is a childcare specialist who has a BA in Early Childhood Education Administration and career diploma in Childcare Management. She also takes Continuing Ed credits in courses involving the childcare field. She and her assistants are certified in CPR, 1st Aid and have cleared background checks and fingerprint records. Our assistant teacher has years of experience in working as a private nanny, working with children of special needs, homeschooling and working in early childhood development programs.
Both teachers understand and respect the uniqueness of what makes each child special. Children are guided with patience. She believes in modeling positive - social skills are key to creating independence that children need to do well in society. Parents find her to be professional, compassionate and trustworthy. She is very dependable and always open for hugs.
Parents find our home to be clean, safe, organized and inviting. Our large class- playroom is designed to meet the developmental needs of each child. We are redesigning our play yard as a "natural" play area that is an extension of our classroom. We only care for a small group of children so that each child gets the quality care they deserve.
Our environment and daily routine are designed in a comfortable - safe home setting enhanced with a well - structured kindergarten prep learning space. Our children become a part of a family of friends while learning the developmental and social skills needed for kindergarten. Our children experience a daily routine that allows for learning activities, free play time, outdoor play, extracurricular activities such as yoga, cooking, and music lessons; free field trips to places like the zoo, Kaleidoscope, pumpkin patch, fire station; presentations form community helpers like police officers or animal shelters; and outings like the splash pad for summer fun and a trip to McDonald's for play and lunch. We love to learn by exploring, we just need the right group of friends to enjoy all this with us.
We are in a perfect spot of Lee's Summit just minutes from major highways making the commute from home to work or school and back easy and quick! We are just off Chipman Rd and Douglas St. Raytown, Belton, Raymore, Grandview, Independence, Blue Springs, and even areas such as Leawood or Overland Park, are all just a highway away.
