In that era, no retailer had better quality home goods than JCPenney. This was from their then-exclusive Studio Home Collection. I bought all of my pillows, towels, comforters, blankets, shams and accessories items from JCPenney and they surpassed collections 10 times the price in both quality and durability. This item is no exception. The other two blankets are still on my beds and have been machine washed nearly 500 times, literally, and remain in excellent condition. (If not, I'd be keeping this one!)
As the package indicates, this fleece blanket has "extra loft" for warmth and is hypo-allergenic.
Color is ivory. Size is full, 80" x 90". I use mine on queen size beds, as I prefer not to have a lot of blanket hanging off the sides.
Price in 2008 was $49.99, which is $76 today!
