Pretty sorrel mustang, 4-5yo. Very sweet boy, gentle disposition. Does ok with tarps, objects, but still needs a lot of desensitizing work done. Doesn't kick, doesn't bite, does fine with picking up feet. Have done some trimming myself, and he did pretty well. Lounges nicely. Loads well in trailer. Can be a little shy to catch, but if you come up to him slowly, he's usually fine. Very easy keeper. Keeps weight really well and isn't picky. Could practically eat thistles and nails and still be fat. Doesn't have a ton of go, but he has a super fast trot he could keep up all day. He doesn't lope. He's doing really well, just needs a lot of practice and a steady hand. He can be a little skittish of things, mostly in the barn yard, but he is improving. He has bucked, most of it was at the beginning of saddle training. Hasn't bucked in a long time. He does need to have warm ups before you ride, especially if you haven't ridden in a while. He backs nice and responds nicely to the bit. He really just needs a lot of practice and time on him. He was a project horse that I am now done with, that's why he's for sale. He processes things really slow and things easily confuse him so he just needs time with someone who is patient and gentle. Repetition is key with him. He is not a beginner horse. Experienced rider/horseman recommended. He will do well as a trail horse, companion horse, and will round out nicely with additional training. SERIOUS INQUIRY ONLY. Please Read Full Description!
