This John Deere 4010 propane (LPG) tractor is a rare, early model from the John Deere 4010 series, produced from 1960-1963.
Not sure of the year of this particular tractor. Features a cleaner-burning, 6-cylinder propane engine (80 HP @ PTO 71 HP @ Drawbar) The clean burning LPG offered reduced engine wear and potentially lower operating costs.
Tractor starts but will need some TLC to bring it up to Show Quality. 😉
8 speed "Synchro-Range transmission"
Sheet metal will be installed back onto the tractor, has front end loader with bale spike only.
Has no 3 point as these tractors were primarily used for hauling grain carts, 540 PTO is broken to our knowledge and will have to be repairs.
Hose shown in the photos will come with the sale but you will have to have your own LP source.
Was used for moving round bales to feed horses. Now that the horses are gone, no more use for the tractor.
$4300 OBO
Need no help in selling this tractor as I am helping a friend to sell it.
