After a lot of thought, I’ve decided to scale back my chicken breeding program and refocus more on our land, gardens, larger livestock, and some other homestead projects. Because of that, I’ll be downsizing several of my breeding groups over the coming weeks.
These birds have been part of a carefully managed seasonal breeding setup with selective breeding for temperament, productivity, and hardiness. Many are excellent layers, proven breeders, and good homestead birds.
Available groups may include:
🥚 Buff Orpingtons
🥚 Lavender Orpingtons
🥚 Silver Laced Wyandottes
🥚 Speckled Sussex
🥚 White Leghorns
🥚 Rhode Island Reds / production reds
🥚 Barred Rock hens
🥚 Amber Link / Red Comet type layers
I WILL be keeping my Black Australorps and German Bielefelders as my long-term foundation flock.
This is not a dispersal due to health issues — just simplifying and becoming more intentional with our homestead goals.
Located in NW Missouri.
Message for availability, ages, and pricing. Preference given to people wanting quality homestead birds and breeding groups rather than single-bird purchases.
Please be patient with replies — I’ll work through messages in order. 🐓
