BBS Marans Hatching Eggs - Blue, Black, Splash Genetics - $75 (Cameron)

These are a line I've been working on to get the elusive #9 dark egg. These pics are taken with and without flash and no alterations other than cropping to get just the eggs. I suck at taking pics, but these look pretty much like what I get at the beginning of laying season. They do lighten as the season progresses.
Sire: Splash Marans
Hens: Blue and Black Marans
Expected Offspring: Based on these genetics, you can expect a mix of Blue and Splash chicks.
Marans are famous for their dark chocolate brown eggs.

Fertility: Eggs are checked for fertility, but please note that a "clear" egg during incubation does not always mean it was infertile, as many factors can stop development.
