Stylish table for dining room or office. Made to accommodate six people comfortably in armchairs, it may accommodate upwards of eight, depending on choice of chairs.
Composed of white pine, birch and walnut veneer. Sealed with two layers of epoxy and five thin layers of polyurethane for further durability and u.v. protection.
The underside is fortified with a welded 1/8” angled structural steel as well as four structural steel braces in the corners where the waterfall edge finger joints into the tabletop. Angled structural steel of the same Guatemalan also runs the length of each waterfall base. All steel is painted a deep umber to match the darkest areas of wood tone.
Borrowing from the simplicity that made modern era furniture so appealing and adding elements that are an elegant nod to the craftsman movement, this becomes a hybrid contemporary piece whose charm and style will appeal for generations to come.
