Bose SoundTouch 300 Soundbar W/ Wireless Subwoofer & Rear Surrounds - $699 (Roanoke/Volker)

condition: like new
make / manufacturer: Bose
model name / number: Soundtouch 300 Complete Set

Reduced to sell! This set has been secured in a box for most of its three year lifetime. Temperature controlled. Gently used. Yet broken in and was used until recently switching systems.

Bought new. I enjoyed it for about 6 months when I bought it and for most of the last 6 months: And, for the price: it’s about as good as it gets. Just the ease of set-up alone and superb audio quality, I’d put it the very top of soundbar bundles. No sound compromises and no real wires to run.

Dolby Atmos is the only thing that surpasses it. And, that’s why I am selling this set. For Atmos. Otherwise, this beats most Home Theater packages available. Even 2-3 years after its introduction. It beats the current Bose 700 hands down.

The price I am asking is about 60% of a new set. These are not new. But they are close. I paid above $1700 in ’17.

Included is a SoundTouch 300 Sound Bar, a matching wireless subwoofer and a pair of wireless surrounds. They work perfectly as new. Are cosmetically as perfect as possible.

All but the rear surrounds have original packaging. (The wireless rears came in non-descript packaging, which was discarded.)

I try to both buy and sell the very best. This system I may regret swapping. It’s the perfect compliment to even a large room, with a small footprint and enormous sound. You can push it or allow it to just sit in the background. It handles all seating areas with the calibrator. It's crisp and precise. All accessories included.

For music: I listen to everything from Springsteen to Billie Eillish to 2Pac to The Roots to Pistol Annies to Pink Floyd. Each sounds exceptional. Add more Bass through calibration and the crossover will take some load off the center and rumble a room without much effort. The Bass module is a wonder of engineering and itself still retails for $699.

TV sound is exceptional. Center channel is where it should be. Lag is non-existent. Bass has an almost omni-directional design technology, which allows for liberal listening placement. The included calibrator is all it takes to get optimal sound.

Surrounds add the right amount of fill and I like them most when they are turned up, through the Bose app. This adds a 3D dimensionality. It’s something not everyone prefers, but I have found it to almost add an extra channel to the set-up. Fills the room in a cocoon of sound.

Personally, I always relied on the Center and allowed the Sub to carry the very lowest of rumbles. For this: it works great. When you turn the bass up, though: it can shake a room. The glass top is elegant and could be used as a side table. It’s the most discreet system in its price range, in my opinion. Disappearing into a room. Coming alive with alarming clarity, without sacrificing space.

Movies have a robust sound quality. The Bass will scare you and the Surrounds will surprise you.

Rare to find a gently used bundle that portended everything Bose has built on since.

Thank you for looking.

Serious inquiries only, please. I've priced this to sell.
