2003 Ford Excursion V10 4x4 with 253,000 miles and a clean title.
Please read the entire description. This vehicle has a significant engine problem and is being sold as a mechanic special.
The engine currently has two misfires. A repair shop advised me that one spark plug blew out of the cylinder-head/thread area. I drove it approximately 10 miles into town when the misfire began, then drove it home and parked it.
I did not pay for further diagnosis, so I cannot say exactly what repairs it needs. It may be possible to repair the spark-plug threads, but it could also require cylinder-head work, an engine rebuild, or engine replacement. Buyers should inspect it themselves and assume that substantial engine repairs may be necessary.
The engine starts and the vehicle moves under its own power, but I am highly recommending that it be transported by trailer rather than driven home.
The 4WD works. Front and rear A/C both work. The interior is exceptionally clean for its age. The driver seat has normal wear, while the remainder of the seats and interior are in very good condition. The radio is not working; the screen does not power on. I have not diagnosed the cause.
The body has considerable rocker/lower-body rust beneath the doors and minor damage near the rear taillight. The rust and damage will be shown clearly in the pictures.
Sold strictly as-is with no warranty. Buyer is welcome to inspect it or bring a mechanic before purchasing. Clean title in hand.
