I’m excited to share that I’ll be stepping into a new role next year as a first grade teacher! After many years in inclusive education, I’m looking forward to creating a classroom rooted in faith, belonging, and a love for learning. My hope is to build a space where every child feels seen, valued, and successful.
Several people suggested I share my Amazon classroom wish list here on Nextdoor. I hesitated at first, but then I remembered how incredibly generous and supportive communities can be. If anyone has ever wanted to help a teacher create a dream classroom for little learners, this is one small way to do that.
Whether it’s books, learning games, hands-on materials, or classroom tools, every item will go directly toward creating a warm, engaging environment for first graders. And truly, sharing the post, keeping an eye out for gently loved classroom items, or simply cheering me on means just as much.
