Professionally framed and matted print of Maxfield Parrish famous, The Lantern Bearers. Parrish painted this "semi-psychedelic scene, blurring the line between fantasy and reality" in 1908. It was purchased by Alice Walton for over $4M in 2006 and displayed in her Crystal Bridges American Art Museum. A picture of the original in the museum is posted below. Parrish was an illustrator for Life, Scribner's, and Collier's magazines. The Lantern Bearers was the cover of Life in 1910. Andy Warhol collected Parrish's painting. Perfect condition.
