Excellent Pre-Owned Condition. Pristine. Pickup in Olathe.

This beautiful thimble belongs to my mom who no longer has a need for it, nor do I. It’s inspired by the Meissen blue onion pattern known in Germany as the Zwiebelmuster pattern. It’s made in Czechoslovakia possibly by Karlovarsky Porcelán but no way to know for certain. The center motif represents a peony bush which symbolizes wealth, stateliness and growth. Inside the thimble the makers symbol is not clear. There is also inner writing that states “Zwiebelmuster Made in Czechoslovakia”. Crafted from white porcelain with blue under glaze painting, height 1”; inner depth just under 1”; top outer diameter ½”; bottom outer diameter ¾”; weight ¼ oz. It’s a lovely thimble that would be a great addition to your sewing tools arsenal, if you sew, or if you’re a collector of unique thimble or embroider petit point. In pristine condition with no discernible wear.
