I picked this bike up a three or four years ago from a garage sale. You could tell it had not been ridden much but had been stored in a garage collecting dust for many years. Took it home, made some updates and here is what I got:

I will list what is the cons first:
• I don't have the original pedals,
• One of the tire guides on the front brakes is missing. In one of the pictures I circled what this is (triangle piece). This does not affect the bike or brakes as all, but was one of those features back then to change a tire out quickly.
• Front rim is not original. Was when I bought it but had car pull out in front of me and damaged the front rim when I was forced into a curb. There are a few nicks in the paint but overall in great shape

Here is what I replaced when I bought the bike:
• Pedals like I mentioned above
• Both tires are new with really no miles on them. Tires are Continental ULTRA Sports if you want to research. Bike tubes are both new and also installed tire liners (to prevent flats) in both tires
• Front rim is new from the crash. Just picked up a new one from REI but nothing fancy about it
• Chain is new
• All cables and cable housing for brakes and shifters are new. Used a Jagwire kit to replace this
• Replaced the handlebar tape. Also replaced the brake handle boots
• Bike pump you see pictured does go with the bike
• New brake pads. They are Koolstop Continental Brake Pads

Bike has original Suntour Cyclone components for the shifters, brakes and derailleurs. All of these are original and what I would say is in good shape. Brakes show a little wear but nothing major. Brakes and shifters work as should. These are downtube shifters that take getting used to but once you do work pretty well for being old school.
Bike size is 53 cm which is measurement from center of crank to seat post. I am 5ft 9 and this was recommended size for my height and felt fine. If you are 6ft or taller it will be too small for sure

Shoot me a text or email if any questions. I am in the Creekmoor subdivision in Raymore (not Raytown) which is just south of KC (between Grandview and Peculiar or next to Belton). Willing to meet up but only in the Raymore area (Wal Mart, Price Chopper or whatever) or you can come to my house to take a look at and/or quick test ride. Thanks
