We are currently seeking a
Group Fitness Department Head to create and manage a cutting edge, member-focused group fitness program
while recruiting and developing a team of entertaining, educated, and motivating instructors.
As the Group Fitness Department Head, you will be responsible for creating and managing a cutting edge,
balanced, and member-focused group fitness program while recruiting. Combine your passion for group exercise
with your leadership skills, instructional talents and administrative abilities to be a truly well-rounded fitness professional.
As a member of your club’s leadership team you will not only manage the Group Fitness Department, but you
will also interact with and learn from your General Manager, fellow Department Heads, and regional and
national group fitness counterparts.
Qualifications
Minimum of one year group fitness management experience preferred
Minimum of one year of group fitness class instruction experience preferred.
Basic computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Primary Group Fitness Certification (minimum of one):
ACE (preferred), AFAA, ACSM, NETA, AEA, IFTA
