Artist looking for a ride to the west coast (lawrence, ks)

Hey I'm looking for a ride to the west coast, I'm trying to get to Portland, Oregon. I would really like to leave after May 1st, but really anytime after Monday would work for me.
I'm broke, but I have a drivers license and can drive a manual.. I also have food stamps so I could buy good food/snacks for the trip as well.
If you have any room in your vehicle, please consider giving me a ride, I don't have very many belongings. I'm not looking forward to hitch hiking alone across the country.
