Dear Citizen,
By now I'm sure you've heard that the credentials of hundreds of delegates and alternates to the Missouri State Convention have been challenged in what appears to be an effort to disenfranchise a huge swath of them - namely the delegates and alternates who support Dr. Paul.
Please note: If you have NOT received a certified challenge letter from the Missouri GOP, please disregard this message as it only applies to challenged delegates and alternates.
If you were elected as a Delegate or Alternate to the Missouri Republican State Convention, and you have received a certified letter from the Missouri GOP informing you that your credentials have been challenged, it's critically important that you take the following actions immediately:
Step 1: Send the email below to Richard Peerson, Chairman of the Credentials Committee, requesting that he provide you with a copy of the challenge to your credentials so that your defense can be prepared in advance of Monday's hearing. Please be sure to add your name and address, as they appeared on the challenge letter, to the bottom of the email before hitting send and save a copy of the email for your records.
Just copy and paste the email copy below into a blank email and send it to Richard Peerson at credentials@mogop.org .
(Place in Email Subject line) RE: Delegate/Alternate Challenge
Dear Mr. Peerson:
I received your certified letter stating that my credentials to the 2008 Missouri Republican State Convention have been challenged.
In order to prepare a response to this challenge in advance of the hearing, I will require the following information: a copy of the official challenge that was filed in accordance with the 2008 Call to Convention, including the name of the person who filed the challenge, grounds for the challenge, evidence the challenge was filed in a timely fashion, and any supporting evidence or testimony provided by the challenger.
I realize that next-day mail delivery is expensive, so feel free to reply to this email with the necessary documents.
Thank you for your help. I know we're all committed to a fair and open process.

Step 2: In order to ensure that you are represented at the May 5 credentials hearing, please click here (https://voters.ronpaul2008.com/grassroots/morsvp.php) to let us know if you'll be able to attend in person or if you will need someone else to represent you at the hearing.
We're doing everything we can to resolve frivolous challenges before the Credentials hearing on Monday and save you the time and expense of driving to Jeff City, but thus far, we've received no response to our requests from the GOP of MO. I realize that it's a hardship for many of you to take time off work to attend, but if you can be there on Monday morning, May 5th, we need you. Should the situation change and your presence in Jefferson City no longer be needed, we will advise you immediately.
Thank you again for all that you've done. Not only has your hard work and dedication taken the establishment by surprise, it has especially touched Dr. Paul. I know he is proud of the way in which you have responded to the difficulties and challenges you've encounter on the road to the convention, and he's confident that your continued dedication and tenacity will greatly advance the cause of liberty in Missouri for years to come.
