You certainly are a true conservative republican. You show a complete disregard for facts that do not line up with what you have concieved as true inside your feeble mind. You refuse to accept new ideas because you cannot let go of old and outdated ones, regardless of whether or not they are true. This is obvious as you failed to address either my logic questions about the existance of god or my direct question as to how you feel the bible is of supreme authority of truth.
The reason I have not convinced you is because you refuse to open your mind to the possibility that what you know could be wrong, as most conservative religious folks do. You try to push your dogmatic beliefs on everyone else in society and expect everyone to accept bronze age myths as truth without evidence just like you do. You probably think a theocracy is a good idea.
Evolution does not provide a false comfort of the afterlife or make you feel like there is some invisible man that cares about you even though he might give your child a debilitating birth defect or a loved one an inoperable cancerous tumor. What evolution provides is the factual truth about our origins. Ceasing to exist after death is a fact of life, regardless of evolution. Some may find this sad, others may find it enlightening in that they realize they have been given one shot at life to make the absolute most of. Then there are people like you that can't survive without the invisible man's imaginary guidance that would shrivel up and die without him. What a waste your life must be...
The fact is that you are just too simple minded to understand current information, so you call people that have an understanding elitist or make irrational judgements of their character because they do not subscribe to your superstition. You fail to realize that your uneducated opinion about things like the origin of life or whether or not homosexuality is a choice does not matter when there is factual, scientific information on the topic. You stay stuck in your dogmatic mind and are unable to open your mind to other possibilities. I would put money on it that I live a far more fulfilling life than you do. I am the one that should feel sorry for you.
