If you think for a second that I don't have the utmost respect and appreciation for those who have served our country and ESPECIALLY those who have given their lives, then you are absolutely mistaken. You act like I'm here cheering on the war which is not the case.

I don't KNOW enough about the war to say that yes we should have or no we should not have gone. I've heard a lot of things that, IF TRUE, would cause my opinion to be that we should not have gone and we should not be there now. I've heard a lot of other things that, IF TRUE, would cause my opinon to be that we absolutely made the right choice to go. The thing is, I don't know what is true and what is false when it comes to this darn war! And you may THINK you know the truth, but none of us KNOW as we are not privy to all the information that the decisions were based upon. I wish 9/11 had never happened, I wish that we were not in a position to feel like we needed to go to war, I wish the war would disappear and I wish that no American soldiers had lost their lives there. The last thing I WANT to happen is for any of the wonderful men and women who have stepped up to the plate to defend our country to lose their lives doing so.

See, war is the one area that I think the government should have some secrets. If WE know everything that is going on and all the intelligence that is being considered, so does the enemy. I am not naive enough to think that I know enough to say 100% whether we should or should not be in a war right now. But you want to act like because I am not 100% against the war that I am 100% for our soldiers dying, and that is an absolute false appraisal of where I stand.

See, I can respect and support our military doing the job that they have been commanded to do and still believe that it is wrong to kill an unborn baby. I hope the war ends soon. I've been hoping the war ends soon for years! But to say that unless I oppose the war, I should not oppose the killing of innocent unborn babies is ridiculous.

As for your last statement, thanks for the compliment!

BTW, war and abortion are NOT related issues. I do not advocate for the death of anyone other than a murderer. To try to make it out like I feel any other way is making a pretty wild stretch in your conclusions.
