You have got to be able to perform like a mad man to draw in and/or intimidate the audience. You have got to be able to effectively and dynamically use your voice, no screaming all the time. If you can croon, hiccup, shout, scream, wail, moan and do all of this with an intense stage persona then you are our singer.
We have access to good recording when the time comes. As well as friends nation-wide who will hook us up with shows from coast to coast (also when we get our shit together).
Be serious about this. We have full plans to tour and make this our complete lives, and if you don't share that vision, then we are not for you. You need to be able to get up and leave within a few weeks notice. That means this takes priority over your job or schooling if it becomes necessary.
Have gig-capable equipment
Be willing to practice 2-3 times a week, every week.
You don't have to be amazing at guitar, but you must know your way around the instrument.

This is all but a touch of what I can offer to teach. All I ask is a few questions during the lesson. I give on what I can deliver and I will never try to make it all too technical for you as the player. I will show you 1-on-1 proper technique that most pros will not show you. There are no short cuts but I will personally show you how to get to the top of your game in little time.
I can help you set up good practice routines in order to avoid mistakes and causing problem areas by visually by observing how you play. I can also teach you how to develop an excellent ear so that you can learn any song you desire with pure ease. But this requires the studying of intervals and some music theory knowledge which I do teach (that is an option as I do NOT force this down on any student as some just wish to learn how to play for fun.)
If you have a song you want to learn, give it to me and I will teach you how to play it and build exercises from it so that you will not be bored with how I teach. I hate boring lessons (as they do put me to sleep) so I will also try to make the lessons as fun and as humorous as possible.

• 3 female back up singers ----must be fit and in shape and able to sing harmony well in several key’s as well as learn chorography, also sing lead on some songs.
• 1 male back up singer----same applies
MUSICIANS
• Lead Guitar ---- must be able to really pick, everything from Chuck Berry to Lynard Skynard as well as country and blues. Electric and Acoustic a plus.
• Rhythm Guitar-----be able to sing harmony
• Bass Guitar---- looking for a versatile bass player that can do everything from walking the bass like in country, to slap bass like in funk.
• Drummer--- we need a GOOD drummer, someone that can keep the beat and not over play and can do everything from a simple swing to rock fills (you would be surprised)
• Keys----we need someone who has the keyboard that can also sound like other instruments, can sound like a horn section or steel guitar or saxophone. Must be able to play everything from old style country to Jerry Lee Lewis/ Little Richard.
If there is a person that can play several different instruments such as horns or sax and fiddle or banjo that would be great!!! But we are not hiring 4 different people for those.

The situation:
To be honest we hate having to find a new drummer, the one we had was downright amazing and a blast to jam with… he practiced his ass off and always continued to improve his play. Unfortunately for us, a good opportunity has arisen for the kid and he is taking advantage of it.

What we are looking for:
First and foremost we want you to bring PASSION to the table. We want someone who makes excuses to come to practice rather then making excuses to ditch practice. We love hanging out a few times a week writing new material, and working on becoming better musicians. We want you to LOVE Progressive Rock. This genre does not deal with basic 4/4 time, and generic musical structures… be prepared to think outside of the box and be creative. You do not have to be the second coming of Danny Carey, just play WHAT FITS (although if you are that good, we would really like to hear you play). If you can read/count music that is a major plus. Please have pro gear and know how to tune… our previous drummer’s kit sounded pretty amazing and we got spoiled. Expect to practice twice a week, and gig at least three times a month. We will supply a CD, and you will practice your ass off to get up to speed asap… once again we are looking for dedication. Thanks for your interest.

I work 8-6 M-F, have two dogs and a girlfriend, and I pitch for a semi-pro baseball team on Tuesdays and Sundays. I am not looking to practice more than 2 times per week, more than 4 hours at a time, later than 11 PM on weekdays, or drive more than 15 miles to practice. I live right near 18th and Central Ave in KCK in case you want to Google it before contacting me. I hope to hear from an individual or band that isn't trying to be the next big thing. I'd describe it as back-porch, bubble-gum, slightly dark, folk rock.
You must be 21 and over and currently possess a working, halfway decent acoustic guitar.
Practices are expected to be minimal (which means you need to be able to pick up things quick). Goal is to be studio- and gig-ready within 2 months. I'm gunning for solely matinee shows, the idea being you could be home by 8-9:30pm. You would not be expected to pay for recording, CD duplication, fliers, or website. You just need to be reliable, capable, and have a sense of humor. Someone who likes this kind of music and can come up with good, new ideas would be preferable (but not absolutely necessary).
