Guitar has been a part of my life and some people don't really seem to notice that I take it serious enough to establish a business. That is to teach. I am here before you as a mentor and instructor to help you reach your goals as a thriving guitarist. Either it be for when you want to get together with friends and jam out or actually achieve pro level which so far have taken their time with strict discipline and patience and start that one band you have always dreamed of.

As a teacher I want to help set goals and give you confidence in your playing and walk you through slowly note-per-note teaching you the secrets of the craft. I'm not here to rush you nor am I just going to give you a couple of chords and scales and then teach you how to play songs.

My mission: Is to provide you with 1-on-1 support and to help you build confidence in your playing. Are you a beginner? No problem are you advanced and looking for some more technical stuff to spice up your playing? No problem. I can provide you with the tools that you need in order to survive. Why? Because I WANT you to learn. I will customize each individual student exercises to help them with their progress and growth as a new musician.

Music is exciting and fun to learn. Some can't take the challenge while some can. Learning a musical instrument is something that should be cherished for a life time. So here some of the things that I offer to teach my students.

Beginner: K-5
How to string your guitar
Tuning the guitar
Memorizing the Fretboard
Picking 101: Alternate Picking
Finger Picking: 101
Posture and Relaxation 101 (of the arms and fingers)
Finger Independence: Introduction to the Chromatic Scale
Finger Strength/Agility Exercise: Early Legato/Trills
Cleaning your instrument
Basic Music Theory (Optional)
Strumming Chords and it's technique
Basic Chords Major and Minor and Barre Form
Major Scales
How chords are created and how they related to chords (basic music theory)

Intermediates: 6 – 8
Picking 102: Inside and Outside the string
Picking 103: The deadly down stroke (rhythm guitar technique)
Scale Practice & Study: Finger Patterns and Scale types
Basic Bending
Sliding
Hammer-On and Pull-Off: Legato 102
The Modes: Major & Minor scales
Harmonic and Melodic Minor scales
Blues Scale
Pentatonic Major & Minor: Their Patterns and Forms
Tapping (Right/Left hand legato)
String-Skipping 101
Chord Progression: 101
Chord Progression: 102
Finger Picking: 102
Sweep Picking 101

After you made it this far or in between the two you can step down two paths: Lead guitar or Rhythm guitar. You can be both but it will be a lot of work. I suggest leading down either path which best suits your needs and desires as a musician

Advanced: 9 – 12
Sweep Picking 102
Rhythm Nightmare: If you wish to proceed in a heavy metal technical rhythm nightmare.
Lead Nightmare: If you desire to play at lightning fast speeds.
Basic Economy Picking

And much more....

This is all but a touch of what I can offer to teach. All I ask is a few questions during the lesson. I give on what I can deliver and I will never try to make it all too technical for you as the player. I will show you 1-on-1 proper technique that most pros will not show you. There are no short cuts but I will personally show you how to get to the top of your game in little time.

I can help you set up good practice routines in order to avoid mistakes and causing problem areas by visually by observing how you play. I can also teach you how to develop an excellent ear so that you can learn any song you desire with pure ease. But this requires the studying of intervals and some music theory knowledge which I do teach (that is an option as I do NOT force this down on any student as some just wish to learn how to play for fun.)

If you have a song you want to learn, give it to me and I will teach you how to play it and build exercises from it so that you will not be bored with how I teach. I hate boring lessons (as they do put me to sleep) so I will also try to make the lessons as fun and as humorous as possible.

If you wish to know of what I can teach or wish to set up an appointment please contact me at the following:
