The Kramer Stagemaster Imperial was only made for a couple of years (79-80) and they are becoming harder and harder to find. Similar to the Kramer DMZ 6000B, the Stagemaster Imperial is constructed of a walnut and maple body with an aluminum neck. Outfitted hardware with Shaller tuners and bridge. This one is in its original vintage condition with only upgrades to the electronics and a couple of custom upgrades to the original hardshell case. From the factory this has its original Dimarzio neck (P-bass) and bridge (jazz bass) pickups. I had another pickup hole professionally routed and installed an additional single coil made by Seymore Duncan placed between the Dimarzio's. Any configuration of any and all three pickups are optional. I like to use the neck and the Duncan together and roll off the volume on the Duncan just a click for the fullest and warmest tone I could achieve with this bass. It is set up with Med-Heavy gauge "Blue Steel" cryogenically frozen strings with what most would consider to be set at fairly high action. As is, the bass has no fret buzz or dead notes, but may need a refret in the future. The aluminum neck is true and straight and was designed to stay this way forever with no warping. The bass has several blemishes definitely worth mentioning. The clear coat over the back of the neck has two areas where some flaking and chipping has started, it has been that way for the past 5 or so years and has not progressed to get noticeably any worse. I have gigged many shows for many years with this bass and it has seen its fair share of abuse, but has also always been taken good care of. One particular St.Patrick's day show a fight broke out while the band was on break. Somehow the brawl made its way behind the stage and next to the drum kit. The bass was on its stand, but took a hard crash with many bodies involved and it had achieved several new bruises that day. The purely cosmetic damage done that day never bothered me, I always called them beauty marks. Either way it can be refinished to restore completely if desired. Most of the dings of significance are on the bottom edge and some on the top edge. The face and back of the bass are in pretty good condition. After the fight was over, I picked up the bass and it played as if nothing had ever happened to it. This was all cosmetic damage. These basses are built almost indestructible. Just ask anyone who has ever had one if you can find them. The original case shows many years of use as well. The handle has been replaced with what is actually an old brass front door handle that is very secure and balances the bass in the case beautifully. I used the pre-existing holes and everything matched up freakishly as if they were made for each other. One of the latches had broke and was replaced with a generic latch from the hardware store and serves its purpose okay. The case is worn throughout with the corners and edges wearing down and residue from years of being taped for transit at many airports luggage checks. This case , similar to the bass, has some cosmetic flaws as mentioned, but both have withstood the years and have many years to go still left in them. Together they have been in trucks, trailers, and airplanes all over the country. They have been reliable and never failed me. It has performed countless shows including a very memorable moment on stage at the Grand Ole Opry, recorded at least 4 albums that I can think of right away, and I truly hate to sell it. My loss, someone's lucky gain.

If you are looking for a great board that will just take a little work and still save you a ton of money this is the one for you.

I really need to trade this or sell it. Any groove products or workstations or cool synths is what I want. Or I will sell it for $225.

This unit is in great shape physically, no major scratches, no dings, just missing 3 slider caps on the pitchbend console. Other issues with this synth are a dead voice (voice 6) and another voice that drones (I can't tell which one). These are going for around $400-$700 on E-Bay in full working order.

I have replaced the battery and reloaded the voices. It plays in Mono but in order to play it in poly you need to fix the voice chip issue.

Not pretty, but work just fine. $80 for the pair. ($300 new)

Several home made abosrbers and bass traps. Condensed rockwool sheets with muslin
coverings. 2' x 4' x 4" and 6" thicknesses. Can be stacked in corner as bass traps,
mounted to walls, or hung from ceilings as clouds. These are dense packed rockwool, with
better bass and overall absorption than Auralex foam.

2' x 3' x 4" $12.50 each (2 left)
2' x 4' x 4" $15 each (2 left)
2' x 4' x 6" $20 each (4 left)

Home made version of Sunburst 360s... 1' x 1' squares of rockwool mounted on a mic stand
and stacked in an alternating pattern up to a height of 4' with a muslin covering. These
can be arranged around a desk for a mixing environment, around a drum set or any
instrument for a recording environment, or just placed at various points in the room for
treatment (in corners as bass traps, etc.).

Its completely re-wired and set up with all new parts. I have new white/clear speedknobs from California Customs eBay store which really make the guitar look awesome. I removed the rhythm/treble ring around the selector switch, I think they look stupid.

AWESOME GFS Steel and brass Floyd Rose (BEAUTIFUL piece, lazer etched and it looks like its made of platinum...) to replace the sad excuse for a Floyd Rose Epiphone put in this thing.
2 brand new WHITE GFS VEH pickups (I'm sold on GFS stuff, sorry. I have the $150 dollar EVH pickup in my EVH Wolfgang and these sound great, slightly different, but in a good way...)

I tried to source some white pickup rings, but they just don't make them, I have some that I painted white but they honestly don't match, so I put the black ones on.

The guitar is in great condition. Plays flawlessly, stays in tune perfectly and is ready to rock.

I need to sell it ASAP to dig myself out of this hole. I would be happy to let you come play it. I'm in Blue Springs.


Open to trades but I need some cash, if its guitar related I'll consider it. I'm REALLY looking for a GR-20 Guitar Synth unit...


Comes with a NICE Epiphone SKB hard case and the original pickups/floyd rose. I'll also throw in a white Dimarzio that I pulled out in favor of the GFS pickups.
