A Deep cleaning is basically a top to bottom, thorough and complete cleaning.
Deep cleaning entails moving all your knickknacks and moving the furniture to clean under it(*if possible). Everything is touched, all the way from the top of the ceiling(*as long as it can be reached without a ladder), down to the baseboards and the floor. Everything from the top to bottom and in between is scrubbed until it is free of dirt and dust and shines like new.

Deep cleaning means cleaning those ceiling fans, dusting away the cobwebs from the corners of the ceilings, dusting the tops of your doors, cleaning the window sills, polishing the furniture, cleaning and wiping those baseboards. The floors are scrubbed, mopped and vacuumed.
In the bathroom, the walls are washed. The bathtubs, toilets, and the sinks and the floors are scrubbed. Floor throw rugs and mats are vacuumed and/or shaken.
In the kitchen, the tops of the cabinets, the front of the cabinets, all countertops are cleaned till they shine.
