The Heart of America Aquarium Society is holding their Summer auction on August 9th at the Palmer Center in Independence. Anyone that has visited previous auctions will know how much fun this can be, visit with old friends and make some new ones too. Your new friends may even be of an aquatic nature.

Come one come all, you will have a ball,
Moms brings Dads, Dads bring Moms, Kids bring them both.
Grandma and Grandpa too, this something the whole family can do.
Experts will be on hand to advise "no don't buy that one, or yes thats just fine"
We definitely will not sell you a suprise.

Where is this exciting adventure going to be held, I hear you ask
Well let me guide you, it is surely no task.
The Palmer Center in Independence will be,
Full of fishes and food, tanks, and people you see.

Standing or sitting and talking and bidding
Mom look at that one, it sure would look swell
With hotdogs and pickles or maybe even a burger
The price you will never say was even close to murder.

The viewing will start at 11 and bidding at noon. With 100's of items to be auctioned, freshwater species, Equipment, aquarium plants, aquariums, and supplies to set up the new home for your aquatic family.
