About the NABA
The National Adult Baseball Association, headquartered in Denver, Colorado, operates amateur baseball leagues in over 90 cities and 34 states, with over 47,000 players who have played the game of baseball nationwide in the NABA. NABA offers fun, affordable community baseball programs with competition in Advanced, Intermediate and Recreational skill levels, for age groups 18 & Over, 28 & Over, 38 & Over and 48 & Over. Our leagues play under a common set of rules designed to organize amateur baseball leagues into consistent, fairly run and responsible adult baseball programs. NABA baseball provides the chance to play the “real” game again. Participants of all ages and from all walks of life have come together to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity that is presented to them through the efforts of our League President and team managers. NABA Baseball is family oriented, yet competitive. We stress sportsmanship, fair play and participation. It would not be inaccurate to portray us as a “Little League for Adults”.

About the KCABA
The Kansas City Adult Baseball Association, our local branch of the NABA, is in its second year of operation after a very successful inaugural season. Last year, the league featured 4 teams: the Independence Indians, the Pinnacle Pumas, the Dynasty, and 2007 league champions Cienfuegos Elefantes. This year the league is expanding to 6 teams to include three new expansion teams: the Kansas City Renegades, the Cardinals, and our team, the Kansas City Blazers.

Sponsorships

The teams in the NABA rely on local business and companies for sponsorships in order to operate. Sponsorship assistance goes a long way toward helping members of the league play on good fields, hire good umpires, and afford professional uniforms, all of which help to expand the league by promoting a positive image of professional baseball. In return for your sponsorship help, the Blazers will increase your business exposure throughout the Kansas City area as well as throughout the nation through several options.

Team sponsorship - Your Company’s name can be identified with the name of the team you will sponsor. Your company logo will be placed on the team banner that will be hung in the dugout of every game.
League newsletter -Your Company’s name appears in weekly newsletters to all players, field providers and media.
Local newspaper publicity-Our League President will see to the best of his or her ability that your full business name appears every week as a team sponsor in your local newspaper, along with league scores, standings and schedule.
Sponsor identification with local NABA All Star games, and regional, National and World Championship Tournaments.

Your tax deductible sponsorship helps many other worthwhile causes, as well. Since 1992, NABA has provided over $3,750,000 in contributions to local youth programs, high schools, colleges, city and county athletic programs throughout the United States. An organization the magnitude of the NABA offers a variety of sponsorship opportunities. Your investment will not only reach the NABA player-members, it will reach their families, friends, teams sponsors, local high school and college coaches and administration and other supporters in the communities across the state. Your investment in the local NABA league or team will be setting a foundation for a generation of adults and youths to support and patronize your business for many years to come. The NABA along with the players and their families tend to be a very tight-knit group. History and experience has shown that the player-members of the NABA and their families support and promote those who back the NABA. With your support we will continue to exert the charitable leadership and vision that’s brought us so far in such a short time.

Levels of Sponsorship

We offer three different levels of sponsorship to suit your advertising needs:

Level 1 - $250-500– In return for a Level 1 sponsorship, we will display your company logo in a 4”x6” area on the team banner that will be hung in our dugout at every Blazers game as well as provide a link to your company website on our league website.

Level 2 - $1,000-1,500 – In return for a Level 2 sponsorship, we will display your company logo in a 8”x12” area on our team banner that will be hung in our dugout at every Blazers game, provide a link to your company website on our league website, and your company logo will appear in the league newsletter.

Level 3 - $2000+ – In return for a Level 3 sponsorship, your company logo will be of a comparable size to our team name on our team banner that will be hung in our dugout at every Blazers game, the link to your company website will be listed above all other links on our league website, your company logo will appear in the league newsletter, and your company logo will be added to our uniforms with a small patch on the sleeve.

Costs of the Team

League Dues - $1000
Home Field Rental - $1000
Umpire fees – $1200 (Ten home games x $120 between two umpires)
Uniforms (for 15 players) - $1400
• Jerseys - $600
• Pants - $400
• Hats, Socks, and Belt - $400

Total Cost: $4,600

Since our league is still in its beginning stages, we want to promote an image of professional and serious baseball to the fans, the sponsors, and prospective players for future seasons in order to increase the growth of our league while creating more exposure for your company. Professional uniforms, professionally trained umpires, and well maintained fields are key to the image of success we wish to promote, and without sponsorships it would be tough to accomplish this. Whether you decide to do a full or partial sponsorship, please know that your help is greatly appreciated by the league, the players, the fans, and the local community.

Sincerely,
Kyle Anthony
